    By accessing or using Stasht.app ("Stasht," "we," "our," "us") and any related websites, applications, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Any new features, updates, or changes to the Service are subject to these Terms. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. You can always find the latest version at https://stasht.app/terms.

    1. Eligibility and Account Registration

    • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
    • Accounts may only be created by human individuals. Accounts created by "bots" or automated methods are prohibited.
    • To register, you must provide accurate information, including a valid email address.
    • Your login credentials may only be used by you; sharing accounts is not permitted.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities under your account.

    2. Use of the Service

    • You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
    • You agree not to:
      • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
      • Violate any applicable laws (including intellectual property laws).
      • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
      • Upload or transmit spam, malware, worms, or destructive code.
      • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users, Stasht personnel, or affiliates.
    • Stasht may investigate and take legal action against violations, including suspension or termination of accounts.

    User Generated Content & Zero Tolerance Policy

    Stasht is a community for organizing and sharing content. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You are strictly prohibited from posting content that is offensive, harassing, illegal, pornographic, or threatening.

    We reserve the right to review, remove, or block any content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion and without notice. Users who repeatedly violate these policies will be suspended or permanently banned.

    Note: You can report objectionable content or abusive users directly within the app via the "Report" feature found on stashes and profiles.

    3. Content and Intellectual Property

    Your Content & Third-Party Links

    Your Notes & Data: You retain ownership of any original text, tags, or notes you create on Stasht. By using the Service, you grant Stasht a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to collect, store, display, and process this content to provide the Service.

    Stashed Links: When you "Stash" a link from a third-party platform (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), Stasht does not claim ownership of that underlying third-party content. You acknowledge that your ability to view or share such content is subject to the terms of service of the originating platform. Stasht acts solely as a tool to organize and bookmark content available publicly or via your personal accounts.

    Public Visibility: If you choose to make your stash or Stash Page public, you grant Stasht and other users permission to view, share, and interact with that content.

    Our Rights

    • The Service and all related software, technology, logos, and designs are owned by Stasht and are protected by intellectual property laws.
    • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
    • Stasht reserves the right (but not the obligation) to review, monitor, and remove any User Content deemed to violate these Terms or applicable laws.

    4. Account Termination and Cancellation

    • You may terminate your account at any time by selecting "Remove account" in your account settings. Upon termination, your stashes and associated data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
    • If you cancel before the end of a paid period (if applicable), you will retain access until the end of that period; no further charges will occur.
    • Stasht reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account or refuse future access to the Service for any reason, including violations of these Terms.
    • Upon termination, you will lose access to your account, and any associated content may be deleted.

    5. Service Availability

    • Stasht is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or reliability.
    • We may use third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology.
    • Excessive bandwidth or usage that significantly exceeds average usage may result in account throttling or suspension.

    6. Payments and Subscriptions (if applicable)

    • If you purchase premium features, you agree to pay all fees associated with your account in accordance with our published pricing and billing terms.
    • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
    • We may modify pricing upon notice, and continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance.

    7. Indemnification

    You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stasht, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

    • Your use of the Service;
    • Your violation of these Terms;
    • Your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights;
    • Any content submitted through your account.

    8. Disclaimer of Warranties

    You expressly understand and agree that:

    • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
    • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
    • We do not warrant that:
      • The Service will meet your requirements.
      • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
      • Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.
      • Errors will be corrected.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stasht and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including damages for lost profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, resulting from:

    • The use or inability to use the Service;
    • Unauthorized access to or alteration of transmissions or data;
    • Statements or conduct of third parties on the Service;
    • Any other matter relating to the Service.

    In no event shall Stasht's total liability exceed the amount you paid (if any) for use of the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, New York.

    11. General Provisions

    • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Stasht and supersede any prior agreements.
    • Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver.
    • If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
    • You may not assign these Terms without our prior consent. Stasht may assign these Terms without restriction.

    12. Notice Regarding Apple Inc.

    If you are accessing the Service via an app downloaded from the Apple App Store, you agree to the following:

    • This Agreement is between you and Stasht, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
    • Stasht is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services.
    • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims.
    • In the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you; Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
    • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
    • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and have the right to enforce it against you.
