Yes, but not inside Instagram or TikTok. Each platform keeps its own saved pile, and none of them searches another's. To search across apps, your saves need to land in one place: a notes app you fill in yourself, or a save app that pulls the details out for you. When we checked Instagram Saved and TikTok Favorites in September 2026, neither screen offered search scoped to your own saves or a control to reorder them. Both offer collections, which narrow a pile once you have done the filing.

What you're actually searching for
You want the ramen place from a Reel, and all you can produce is "the one with counter seating in Bushwick." A bookmark can't help with that. It points at the post and carries almost none of the words you remember. Sorting has the same gap: a folder called "Food" puts tonight's dinner, Sunday's recipe, and a gift idea in one pile.
Four ways to find saved posts
Collections first. Name them after a decision, like "Dinner spots" or "Try this month," and file at save time. The filing is the cost.
Public search. Hunt the post down the way you found it: the neighborhood, the dish, the creator's wording. It works well when you remember something specific.
A notes app or spreadsheet. Paste the link and a few keywords. It's searchable across platforms because you typed every word yourself.
A save app you can search by description. We make Stasht, so judge this part accordingly. Share a post to Stasht the way you'd share it to a friend. Later, describe what you remember, such as "person holding a mic," and search your saves across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, and web links. Try it in three steps
- Share one post you'd like to find again. A recipe, a place, an article, anything you care about.
- Describe what you remember from it. The dish, the neighborhood, the creator, or something you saw in it.
- Open it and use it. Open the source link while it is available, check the map if it's a place, or add it to a collection you share.
Once that feels right, you can bring older saves over. With the supported browser extension, you can review and import saves from supported platforms, and TikTok Collections keep their grouping.

Can I find a video by something that was only said out loud? Not inside the Instagram Saved or TikTok Favorites screens we checked in September 2026. In Stasht, sometimes: spoken details can be among what it extracts, but a given phrase isn't guaranteed to match.
Can I sort my saves by date? In Stasht's Stashes view on the web, yes, newest or oldest first, alongside filters. Instagram Saved and TikTok Favorites did not expose a sort control when checked in September 2026.
Does this replace Instagram or TikTok Collections? Only if you want it to. If you save lightly and rewatch inside one app, collections can be enough.
Is the original post still there? Your save links back to the source post, so the original stays one tap away while it's still up on that platform.
